OtherWords distributes progressive commentaries and cartoons that empower readers to become more engaged citizens.
For this project, I designed both the OtherWords logo along with the web site, OtherWords.org for the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS).
Like most web projects, I start with the user experience – organizing the page structure with site maps and page wireframes. Once this is complete I do the graphic design – making page mock-ups to show how the site will look. Once the design is approved I code the page templates in HTML and CSS which IPS staff then integrated into their content management system.
